Desiree Garrity

Desiree Garrity is an attorney who previously worked at the Los Angeles County Public Defender's Office, where she was involved with the production of Kellett & Pitchess motions, as well as motions for findings of factual innocence, and worked as part of the Office's bail project.

Prior to joining the firm, Desiree worked as a volunteer mediator with the Los Angeles Superior Court at both the Stanley Mosk and Edelman Children's Courthouses. Additionally, she worked as a law clerk at the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, the Cook County State's Attorney's Office, and at Weinberg, Roger, & Rosenfeld. Desiree has also previously worked for the Prison University Project, and served as a volunteer on Gavin Newsome's Policy Platform Committee regarding cash bail reform. A native of Chicago, Desiree was also a fourth-generation union Stagehand.
