Biography
Chelsy Velis is a Paralegal with Romero Law, APC. With a proven skill set and keen knowledge of state and federal California law, Ms. Velis provides direct support to attorneys in litigation matters against public entity employers. Chelsy received her paralegal certificate from California State University Monterey Bay and is currently studying at Post University to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies. Chelsy comes from an extensive background of providing paralegal support including, the drafting of legal documents, conducting discovery interviews with clients, and case management. When she is not in the office, Chelsy actively serves as a volunteer advocate with Peace Over Violence providing crisis intervention, safety planning, and counseling, among other services. A California native, Ms. Velis is fluent in English and Spanish.
